We drove into St. Remy and had to find a room....we ended up staying 3 nights because we loved it so much! The people were so nice (my husband does speak french, so that helped I'm sure), the room was clean and beautiful, and we had the room down around the corner...not int he main building. The pool is the... More

Yes, this place is within walking distance of the center of lovely Saint-Remy en Provence, and has a beautiful pool and outdoor patio area where breakfast is served, and has clean and incredibly comfortable rooms...but the best thing for us on this trip was the understanding host. There had been an error in our reservation which ended up with wrong... More

We were two couples visiting Provence for a couple of nights. We found this hotel online and it looked nice and was reasonably priced. We were not disappointed. Our two rooms were on different floors. The first floor room had fully shuttered doors onto the patio. My room was upstairs. It appeared to have been more recently renovated and was... More

We were coming into town late having driven all day from the Dordogne, tired and had reservations at a B&B in the nearby country side for our first night in the area. We had thought of also staying at the Van Gogh because of the name as we are artists. We stopped at the hotel to ask directions and get... More

Delightful and charming hotel with a lovely pool. All spotlessly clean. Smiling, helpful staff. Accommodated our tandem bike in secured outhouse. Breakfast available to be had outside or inside. Super hot water, great plumbing. Wi fi a bonus. Would recommend ! More

I'm quite surprised by the average reviews for this hotel - we were very happy there for two nights. Our double room was in the annex, so we had plenty of privacy, peace and quiet. The decor in the room was a bit naff but it was clean and tidy. And the hotel itself has a modern, comfortable lounge and... More

We stayed at the Hotel van Gogh as part of a 7-day trip around Provence. On the whole the hotel is fine...the pool was a welcome addition as many of the other 2 stars we had stayed at didn't have one, and the room was pleasant with the added bonus of air conditioning. What did put a sour note to... More

Good location, but no air .Good location, very clean but no air conditioner. It was really hot while we were there (first week in July). The ground floor does not have windows; only doors that open to the patio so you can’t have it open because you have people sitting there all the time. Room number 2 could not even... More

We choose this hotel because it was cheap (a one night stay), had a swimming pool and was within walking distance of the town. It is laid out like a motel and our room was on the first floor at the end of a long corridor. The room was basic with little furniture and no TV. But the room was... More
