Hotel d'Azur is located in the middle of the city center. I have chosen the hotel in order to be able to go to the Cabaret Aleatoire by foot and it was good choice – half an hour of slow walk to the concert place. Personal at the hotel is extremely polite and mannerly and is willing to help you... More

good report price/quality. Cosy but very good quality room. Clean and nice. Close to very pleasent Cours Julien and very worldly Noailles. 10/15 minutes pleasent walk down to Belgian quay or metro right next to the hotel.

The Azur is around 12 minutes walk from St Charles Station and a little bit further from the Old Port. There are several bars and restaurants close by as well as takeaways and late night stores. The breakfast is adequate and available all morning. The lack of a lift and fire escape may concern some and booking a room in... More

Nicely located hotel, close to the rue Canebiere. Breakfast consists of bread&butter, confiture, yougurt, fruit salad, orange juice, coffee/tea and some pastry, but it is really substantial, if you eat it all. I had room 17, for one person there is enough space. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had room 23. It was a little room with old pink wallpaper and a little bathroom (with a great shower). One lamp didn't work. But, yeah it was cheap. The hall of the hotel and the service were great.

The pictures do not come close to the room we had, it was just awful. Two seniors from the US in just a full size bed. Two people and two pieces of luggage made it extremely tight to move around in. Lights were broken, tiney little bathroom and very noisey. We were on the second floor and had to drag... More

Reading different reviews here I wasn't quite sure what to expect, however I was most pleasantly surprised seing the location and service offered at Azur. We came 2 hours before the check-in time, and were immediately let in the room which was quite spacious with a huge bathroom and a wonderful view. It was clean, had towels, only thing missing... The location not far from the train station is probably the only good thing about it. In saying that, the night concierge was very pleasant. We were given a room on the fourth floor and had to carry our luggage all the way up a narrow staircase since there is no lift. When we got to our room we discovered... More

We booked air conditioning Comfort room with Garden view (extra charge) Conditioner didn’t work. They offered to move me to a different room for an extra charge (30 euro per night). So we couldn’t stay in the room during the day, it was too hot outside and inside 30C. It was an unattractive view of an inner backyard with hanging... More

We stayed at the Azur Hotel for 3 nights in May and found it to be perfectly acceptable. Its nothing amazing but its in a great location, the staff are friendly, the place is clean and the rooms are of a decent size. Our bathrooms were newly refurbished - one had a bath, one had a very good shower. We... More
