I have just returned from a one week stay at this hotel. Everything was great and beyond our expectations. Rooms, staff and their services, food .... were just perfect. The staff is exceptionally well-mannered and accommodating, right from the doorman to the manager at the reception. Without any doubt, I would recommend this place to all my friends and family... We fell by accident here, we'd not booked for Marseille and I wanted a sea-view. I have a taste for quirk 2* French hotels they are more idiosyncratic than their competitively priced corporate competitors. It's odd, weird choice in decoration, bizarre interior volumes. We did not take breakfast here. Go for the oddity, the great views, the Scops owlet on... More

I give full credit only for its location which makes great experience for the stay. I stayed for three nights during July 2011 and the staff told me that they are planning for renovations in 2012. Breakfast is fine, rooms are ok but dont expect too much. Its very old building and even I was bit scared of the window... More

the owners are wonderful and accommodating, but that does not make up for the very, old, dated and just 'not right' attempt at interior design at a 3 - 4 star price. don't be fooled by this one, it is no more than a 2-star. and don't waste your money on the embarrassment of a breakfast.

The hotel is a short bus trip from harbour area, along the corniche. Opposite the restaurant of the same name but not the same owners. When I stayed, there was scaffolding along the front of the building and painting inside. This is only a small problem. It is still possible to view the amazing sunset over the sea. The road... More

View is great and staff is very friendly. We also felt very safe as the front desk was staffed at all hours and exterior door locked. The lobby and hallway are very shabby. No elevator - which is a problem if you have alot of luggage. The room looked worn but was clean and had a nice bathroom. Internet worked... More

We wanted hotel close to sea, and especially with a sea view. And we really had wonderful view from mini French balcony to the sea and and as a bonus we got good view to If-Castle and Frioul Islands etc. Price is OK, not cheap but not too expensive. Staff (consisted of younger lady (owner?), grandmother, man and dog) was... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Peron in early March. The view from this hotel is so amazing that the sunset on our final day it will undoubtedly go down as one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Do not expect luxory for this hotel that offers a cosy and colourful atmosphere. You may want to choose it for the affordable prices and the scenic view from the majority of its rooms. The owner is helpful and welcoming, its location is idilliac: in front of the frioul islands and chateu d'if. 10-15 minutes by walking from the lovely... More

This place is so charming. The owners went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. The sea view was just the best, and even in a cold January I kept opening my balcony door so I could enjoy the full views. The hotel is only few minutes away by bus but also easy to reach by foot. Had... More
