We came to Nice for the first time to celebrate a very special wedding anniversary. We had chosen Villa Rivoli as we thought that the hotel would be more individual and have more charm than the bigger hotels. We stayed in room 6 which had been described as a "superior" room. While the room was clean and the bathroom also... More

Dear Madame, dear Sir, We thank you for spending the time giving us all the information and we feel very sorry that your stay wasn’t as expected. The hotel was build in the end of 19th. Century and our “belle époque hotel “ is considered as a beautiful historical example for the past century . The name of the architect... More

Heart pumping from dragging our suitcases to the second floor, it was a surprise to find the bed in our room occupied 80%of the floor space and the wardrobe took about 10% of our clothes. The poor internal wall insulation allowed us to listen to our neighbours tv's and conversations quite easily, and we amused ourselves by trying to guess the make... Stayed at this charming hotel for 4 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, excellent location about 200 metres behind the famous Negresco Hotel on the Promenade Des Anglais, about 5 minutes walk away and about 10 minutes from the station. We arrived on a public holiday so the buses were not operating from the airport, normally the bus... More

A good hotel for a weekend break. Conveniently located with a 5 minute max walk to the beach; 10 mins to raliway station and 20-25 min walk to Nice old town. Excellent and friendly staff who gave a warm welcome. Rooms were fine and clean and include free wifi. Beds had the smallest pillows I'd ever seen which were more... More

Nice hotel close to the Negresco and the Promenade des Anglais, not far from the old city center. A really good location, close to almost everything worth to see or visit in Nice. We had a superior room on the first floor, which was tastfull furnished and big enough. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Two things disturbed us... More

We were recommended to Hotel Villa Rivoli by Nice Garden Hotel when their 9 rooms were full. What a find Villa Rivoli is! We took 4 rooms, and all were clean, upscale, and well appointed. The best part, even over the great location a couple of blocks from the beach, were the caring, friendly employees. To a person they seemed... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in March following good reviews on TA, definitely not disappointed. The room was on the 2 floor but the hotel has no elevator, the reception lady offered to carry the bag but it was almost as big as her! We had a double room with ensuite and a balcony; though the room was small the... More

Booked through expedia and paid only $73/night for a pretty and charming room with a chandelier, balcony that opens to the garden, and a spacious, clean and big bathroom. The location is close to the beach about 3 minutes walk, we walked from the train station to the hotel (to and from) about 11 minutes on a straight road Rue... More
