Conveniently located: a short walk from the railway station (where the 99 bus from the airport stops) and about 10-15mins walk away from the main square and beach. Friendly staff who speak English. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and you can hear the guests next door if they talk loudly.

The shopping area was very nearby the hotel (almost around the corner). Old city centre and the beach only 15 to 20 minutes walking. This hotel is simple, we had a small room, just like most of the hotel rooms in France. As the Cote d'Azur is such a beautiful region, the best is to explore Nice and other cities... More

We stayed for 7 nights Positives: Location was pretty good. Short walk from the train station and about a 15 minute straight walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants, bars, stores etc very close by. A couple of the desk staff were quire helpful, friendly and spoke good english. Air conditioning worked. Negatives: To begin with they overbooked and sent... More

A charming french hotel in the heart of Nice, close to the shopping area of Avenue Jean Medecin and the old town of Nice. It's location is perfect. The staff is helpful and they speak English. My room was ok, not very big, but it was clean and the shower was pretty good. some rooms have a balcony but I... More

Fourth hotel on our trip of Europe. Good location for those travelling by train, you can walk to the Hotel from the station when you arrive. The staff all had beautiful smiles, and did their best to help us. The rooms are small and cheaply furnished, relatively clean, and the staff try and help. You didn't choose this Hotel for... More

The shower curtain really smelled awful and the daily room cleaning doesn't really consist of much besides peach air freshener and new towels. Hotel management is certainly not welcoming, maybe even a little scary? Also, when returning to our hotel one night, the front desk man at night stopped me and asked me who I was and who the people... More

I only stayed at Hotel Nicea for one night, but it was a fairly good stay. It is actually pretty hard to find, it is tucked in the middle of the street, I even got lost during the day but a nice French guy helped me find my way back. Anyways the people who work are courteous, you can converse... More

I would strongly advise against chosing this hotel as a base to explore the fantastic city of Nice. Several probs 1) hotel is suprisingly off the beaten track and difficult to find. A good 45 minute walk from promenade des anglais. 2)pillows on beds are paper thin.bed sheets have been washed but are stained!! 3)our airconditioner dripped constantly over our... More

We checked into the hotel around 9pm and the guy at the front desk didn't speak much English but he still managed to recommend a nice little restaurant (that wasn't a tourist trap!). The rooms were fairly clean. The bedding was all updated. We had a little balcony off of our room which was nice. The bathroom was a bit... More

I have stayed here twice. It has been renovated some. The linens and furniture is new. The carpet appeared new as well. This is just your traditional Mom and Pop hotel with minimal frills, but clean enough. It is fairly well located and has some older charm. Not too bad of a place. I would stay here again.
