Stayed for the weekend of Monaco historic G.P. Hotel is 3 minute walk from station and Monaco is just 10 minutes away. Rooms are small and as stated in previous reviews there is a lot of noise during the evenings and early morning, bin men, recycling etc. This is not the hotels fault but it does affect sleeping, especially if... Stayed for 3 nights in this family run hotel. Owner is very pleasant and keen to assist you and speaks very good English. Rooms are on the small side but clean and adequate. They are cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. All in all a good experience of a reasonably priced traditional French Hotel. Would revisit.

This little hotel has clean comfortable rooms. They are small but with a clean bathroom and plenty of hanging space for your clothes. The management are friendly and very helpful, pointing out, on a map all of Menton's attractions and places of interest. It is true they don't speak much English, but with a few basic words of French, everyone... More

Booked this hotel 1 day earlier for 2 rooms thru Internet. Went there, the receptionist is very polite but they speak very little English. The room is very basic but very clean including the toilet. Went there on Dec 2011 (winter). Every room has heater. Booked only €50 per room. Can't complain more.

Well located. Near to rail and bus stations. This is an old fashioned 2 star, very clean and comfortable, yes soundproofing isn't too good and the bathroom was a little snug but the bed was excellent, Seeemed to have Wifi. If in Menton again would use this hotel for sure.

This is the third visit to this hotel, and I have had a enjoyable visit on all three occasions... It is a basic 2 star, the rooms are clean, the staff are polite and friendly... the location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and the old town... 5 min walk from Menton train station. The hotel... More

The Richelieu is an unusual hotel. Centrally located, it's perfect if you want to explore Menton, although our stop was very much an overnight stay as we drove around Europe in an old banger. Parking is an issue in Menton, and the same goes for the hotel - unloading the car involved stopping on the street, sticking the hazard warning... More

This is probably the worst hotel that we have ever stayed at! The reception area, as already mentioned by others, is on the first floor. They have a lift but one has to climb a few steps in order to get to the lift so this isn't a hotel for those with reduced mobility. The lift is also very small.... More

We are so glad we booked our accommodations here. They were so helpful with all of our questions and offered lots of great suggestions of what to do. The room was adorable! Not as small as we expected for Europe. There was no air conditioning, but you can rent a fan. We just slept with the windows open and the... More

If you are on a budget, this is the place to stay. No frills here but a comfortable hotel in a great location (near the beach and the old town). The breakfast is served in the dining room with french doors opened unto the street. We were traveling with a car and we were able to get free parking next... More
