This was the first hotel I stayed in on my 3 night hotel tour of Menton during the Lemon Festival. It is in a pretty good location, overlooking the sea and a comfortable 10 minute walk to the High Street and main strand. I had a small double room but I think theyd given me a small room because I...

We stayed on a Twixtmas break from the 26th to 29th of December. From check-in to check out the hotel staff made everything easy and relaxing. They actually remember who you are and take care of any room charges without all the hassle of "Room number? Name? Sign? Tip?" you have to endure in most other hotels. The lemon drinks...

My partner and I stayed at the Napoleon in September 2011. It was my first trip to Menton and I fell in love with the place immediately. We parked our hire car in the hotel's car park and as we entered the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. While we were checking in, the barman presented us...

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Napoleon on Tuesday night, November 8, 2011. We walked in about five in the afternoon and asked for a room for one night. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly receptionist. While we were registering the barman greeted us with a welcome drink. Our room was spotlessly clean. The room is...

We turned up about 6pm without a reservation and managed to get a room. There is limited ( and gated) parking to the side of the hotel for about 8 cars. Room was clean and comfortable, and staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good, but expensive.
A good choice for a night or weekend stop, about a 10 minute walk...

We were disappointed with this hotel. The room was small - only just wider than the bed. We were at the rear of the hotel, where unless you are on the top floor, the view is of a huge wooden fence. The room was furnished in an old fashioned way and resembled a room in a business hotel, rather than...

We did not book in advance but wanted a place to stay in between our trek from Provence to Tuscany we pulled into town and decided to give it a try. Lovely little hotel right on the busy waterfront main street. Beautiful sea and city view from our balcony in room 407. The English speaking receptionist was beyond friendly and...

Have just returned from Menton and the Hotel Napoleon, and already are planning to return. The hotel was excellent. Very well maintained, clean and most of all the customer care could not be faulted. All members of the staff could not be more charming or helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
Five years on the trot and the lovely Napoleon always delights. Friendly, charming staff, fresh, modern rooms and fab location make this a winner. Menton's finest.
