We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Hotel is clean, simply, but nicely equipped and staff is really helpful. The position on Promenade d Soleil is wonderful. Old city center just few minutes walking...Hotel helped a lot to make our trip to Rolex Masters fantastic.

We stayed at the Hotel Riva in early September. Firstly Menton is an ideal and inexpensive base from which to explore the French Riviera. The hotel is clean, efficient and the staff helpful. We had no complaints. Its position across from the beach is wonderful. We spend many an evening walking along the promenade. A very relaxing week.

Great location on the sea. Modern, nicely decorated, smallish room but big marble/granite bathroom. Stayed at this hotel for two nights in September 2012. We found the hotel rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable, but a little on the pricey side for late September at 125 euro a night plus 11 euros per person for breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke very good English.

Hotel Riva is situatted on the water front, with a small road (with quite a lot of traffic) between the ocean and the hotel.
