This hotel is located directly across from the Mediteranian and on the promenade which you can drive or walk to the Italian border (approx. 4 miles). Menton is a lovely little village with lots of things to see and do. Hotel staff was wonderful. Room was clean and very quiet. The hotel also has a little restaurant in it.

It was annoying to pay for a sea view and have a palm tree blocking the view. The manager we spoke to was unhelpful and would not move our room. The hotel was nice and on the front but the staff could have been more helpful.

Riva Hôtel is an upmarket hotel for a reasonable price. I and my wife stayed at the hotel in September 2011. The hotel are very comfortable for sea vacation. The breakfast was small but enough for us. The room has equipped wireless internet access. Solarium and Jacuzzi on the top floor are beautiful.
