We chose this hotel for location, visual character and convenient parking and were not disappointed. We found it easily using our Mapquest directions. The hotel looks like a converted villa within a nicely landscaped and flowered gated, walled compound with small terrace with tables and umbrellas to eat breakfast outside if desired or just hangout, and gravelled parking area (5... Hotel is so lovely, so nice, starting from the first impression you feel like at home. Receptionist does not speak english well, but we did communicate perfectly :-) Room is small, but enough space indeed. Breakfast typical french, lots of baguettes, 4 kinds of delicious jam, cheese, butter, jogurt, orange juice liek freshly squeezed, croissant, nutella, quite good coffe, after... More

I read the reviews of "La Marjolaine" before I booked it and we weren't disappointed! Our room was very traditional French and felt very welcoming. We were pleased we had a balcony, as it was very pleasant on an evening to sit out there with a glass of wine. The hotel had a great location, only a few minutes from... More

We stayed in this small hotel with about 10 roomes, every room is different and decorated with character. The staff is very helpfull, I could even use their computer! The only downside of our room was the small bed, only 140 cm, so we had to "fight" for the blankets from time to time... It is situated right in the... More

Myself and the good lady had a wonderful 3 nite stay in May 2011. As we arrived on our motorcycle the lady in charge came out to greet us and instructed us to park bike in front of her car in a safe place. Oh and it was free. She was a wonderful lady and with her very limited English... More

After reading the reviews we decided on this hotel and for location and comfort we were pleased with our choice. Quaint, traditional hotel, we had a friendly welcome from the owner, we were two hours earlier than the check in time but she checked to make sure the rooms were ready, which they were and gave us the keys. Rooms... More

I had previously stayed in this hotel in 1965 when, on my first trip abroad I attended the Jazz Festival. In going back after 45 years I feared I might be disappointed but I was not. The hotel is charming and very well situated close to the beach, the pinede and the shops and boutiques. The street is quiet and... More

I travelled solo and Found this hotel to be perfect. The owners go the extra mile to keep you comfortable. Room is a decent size and shower tiny BUT all is immaculately clean. It gives a great feeling of the locals way of living . . .love the shutters u can close. All equipment works and a very comfortable bed... More

Would definitely recommend staying here for the location - very central in JLP and near the beach but not at all noisy. Service was really good. Clean hotel. Room wasn't that big but wasn't tiny either. Breakfast was quite basic but what we expected - a yoghurt, french baguette and plain croissant with coffee or tea and with orange juice.... More

We booked this hotel through Venere as a direct booking was not possible. Prices worked out the same, anyway, at around £76 a night including a very basic breakfast. The hotel would have been good value when the euro was weaker but now that seems a lot to pay for a smallish room with tiny shower room/toilet accessed by a... More
