- Mercure Hotel Hyeres Centre

The hotel is in a good locatopn - close enough to walk into the old town for restaurants and well placed for exploring the area. We spent twelve nights in two interconnecting rooms with balconies over looking the garden. The rooms were a good size, reasonably clean on arrival, although the carpets were stained in places. The rooms were fairly...

ok so I arrived at 7pm without prebooking but this shouldn't have made THAT much difference. I was given a key and when I went upstairs to my room the room number was not on the door. The receptionist came upstairs with me then showed me into a room which he explained was part of the honeymoon suite and the...

This is not a business hotel but it seems to be commonly recommended as such by locals, perhaps for lack of something better. I don't know why tourists would want to stay here instead of near the beach except to economize.
Free Internet and good signal in lobby but marginal in room.
Rooms still use lock and key instead of...

Arrived late without a reservation and pulled into the Mercure. I had heard good things about this chain but I was wrong. The Mercure is about 15 mins walk NE of Hyeres railway station. Go up Edith Cavell and turn right along dual carriageway. The 4 storey building is hidden by trees until you get quite close. It is a modern structure attached to a small shopping centre housing a Carrefour. The hotel entrance is wide, bright and airy. Through the glass...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights before going to a house in la capte. It's in a good location as its only a short walk up the hill into Hyeres. Check in was smooth and room was nice and clean. Air con was working and room was modern. Bathroom was also very clean. We had breakfast which...

I stayed for 10 nights at the Mercure. So I got to know the staff, most really don't care that you are there. The exception being the front desk night manager, he would do anything, mix drinks, get towels, ect.
Like I said above it is a very clean hotel, the rooms are modern but the beds are small. If...
