We enjoyed our one week stay here. Arriving late in the evening, we decided to dine in at the hotel resto, called Brasserie Leopold. Our waitresses' personality was as sunny as Provence itself and was a lovely introduction. We had two meals at the Leopold and thought they were both excellent. Some of the general hotel staff were warm, conversational... More

We were assigned this hotel by husband's work place. 7- 10 couples or individuals stayed in this very traditional Provencal hotel. Some rooms were small, however. In the process of refurbishment, some smaller rooms have fantastic showers, with 3 directional wands. Our room was a larger one, with the old tub and hand held shower, no curtain. We did have... Loved the location of this hotel- bordering the tourist information centre, the historic town and the main boulevard. Check in was quick and efficient and the guest liaison was pleasant, provided a map and information about the area. The hotel is three star and the amenities, look and feel matched accordingly. Rooms are on the small side with not much... More

An easy walk from the station (not the TGV) and a few steps from the Cours Mirabeau. I wish I had upgraded to a larger room. The standard room is very small although I got one with a nice view. Power was a problem for many American, Canadian and Australian tourists - including myself. Our appliances did not work with... More

Summary Fortunately we only spent one night in this hotel as it was rather dreary but represented good value Well-located for the old part of town and shopping district. Room, at the back of the hotel, was quiet, very small and clean with a modern bathroom. A comfortable bed resulted in a good nights sleep . Dark and dippy offbeat... More

We arrived late in the evening in Aix without any hotel. We got a superior room, since there were no other rooms available. For the price we paid we had higher expectations. The room was big enough with a terrace. It was clean, but the bathroom was a bit outdated. It is located near the main square of Aix, walking... More

Aix-en-Provence is one of our favorite cities in France other than Paris. It's easy to ride the TGV down and hop the shuttle bus into the center of the city. You really don't need a car, but where to stay? Hotel Saint Christophe was the perfect answer for us last week. It's just one long block from the shuttle bus... More

The hotel is well situated for a visit of beautiful Aix, and is walking distance to the the train and bus stations. We had a fabulous dinner with excellent service at the restaurant (try the fish soup - divine) although the waitress at breakfast had an attitude.

After reading the reviews, I was determined to stay here. Overall, our experience was quite good. The location can't be beat, right at the Cours Mirabeau and so close to the old town. We paid attention and reserved a parking space in advance. This is essential since there are only about 20 spots, if that. We chose the least expensive... More

Hotel Saint Christophe is the perfect location to base your travels in and around Aix. The hotel is within walking distance (1/2 mile) from the bus depot. You have to take a bus from the high speed train station to get to Aix's town center. Purchase the ticket on board the bus! It's all very easy. From the bus depot... More
