The room was a little small (but then most French hotel rooms are rather small), but otherwise this was a pleasant hotel in a good location. It was close to the centre of town and the cognac distilleries. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good (at an extra charge).
Stayed here for 1 night in order to visit the Martell cognac house. The reception area is bright and modern and the receptionist spoke good English. For some reason she wouldn't take my A Club card and said that it could only be used to aquire points at weekends-bizarre.We have stayed in many Ibis Hotels over the years and never been...

Stayed for one night as a stopover en route from Ireland (via Cherbourg) to Spain, and chose the Ibis based on Tripadvisor reviews. The hotel is well located in the centre of town but with plenty of car parking available. The rooms are standard Ibis units, but surprisingly spacious and very clean and comfortable. And there is little wrong with...

what a great little hotel to stay in, the staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The location is ideal just afew minutes walk from the centre of a typical french town.
We really enjoyed our night in this hotel and it was within easy walk of the town centre. Our room was nice and large as was the bathroom. Definitely a place to stay in Cognac. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has its own garage or there is free parking opposite the hotel.
Well located near town centre ( about 6/7minutes walk). Bedroom (air conditioned) and toilet a bit small but adequate. Good sized shower room. Small reception/bar. No restaurant but bar type meals available. Plenty of restaurants in the town. Good breakfast in smallish breakfast room. Closed parking available (7 euros per night). Open parking opposite hotel.
I stayed one night and highly reccomend it. The hotel is spotless and very quiet...furniture and fittings appear to be very new. The lobby is well set out with brochures and a little shop to purchase drinks etc. There is plenty of parking nearby and the town centre is a 5-minute walk. The staff are very welcoming, professional and were...
