The place is owned by FEI judge Michel Asseray. Since we were in Saumur for the CCI3* - we had to try it. I recommend you make a reservation upon arrival as the restaurant tends to book up. I had originally reserved a room for two nights in another hotel (see my review on the Hotel Le Volney), but upon arrival had discovered that the owner had not taken the reservation correctly after all.
