Stayed for one night, room was OK but I found the bed a little uncomfortable, free Wi-Fi, had dinner which was nice and well presented. Staff seemed pleasant, parking below the hotel, but beware Satnav directions miss the hotel. Overall a generic type business hotel.

Nothing bad or great about this one. It did the job and was reasonably priced. Do note our rented GPS missed it by 1/2 block. Good to have parking (10EU). Breakfast was average. Room was very servicable. The front desk people were nice and helpful. Do not miss the apocolypse tapestry at the main castle in town.

Wonderful service, large very clean room (if a little dated). Tea and coffee facilities and secure parking downstairs too. The bed was incredibly comfortable - although the pillows not so great - and we had a great night's sleep. 10 minutes walk to town and a pretty safe area, we strolled around quite comfortably late at night without any worries.... If you know the Accor group then you kind of know where Mercure sits in their heirarchy but unlike the Ibis range we have found Mercures to be quite variable in quality.
