we invariably use Mercure hotels for a stop-over on our drive South to our holiday home. This is the first visit to Le Mans, and the hotel, whilst perfectly adequate for our purpose does not compare favourably with other Mercure hotels at which we have stayed. However the price charged reflects this.

I stayed here for one night,it was ok. The rooms are what you would expect and no more, they aren't what you would call spacious, but the bed was comfortable enough.. The food was ok/good, dinner being better than breakfast.

Stayed only one night at this one. Mercure is ussually good no matter where it is. This one was no different. Seemed to be quite new one, modern furniture, modern designed rooms. We were with a group of drivers so perhaps the staff could not cope but the evening meal was uninspiring and the dining room cold. The room was nice and warn and clean and breakfast was fine. Nor sure I'd use the hotel again

Our stay in Le Mans was very pleasant. The staff speaks excellent English and they are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The rooms are nice and quite. We were surprised to find an empty car park in a hotel in France even on a Sunday evening. But we did here. Then we found out why. Hotel ok, rooms acceptable. This wasn't a planned stop but thanks to some car problems we found ourselves here for two nights. As we had no car we also had to use the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We stayed here en-route from Bordeaux to Caen; we had interconnecting rooms which were ideal for our family. The staff were very helpful, providing a map and directions to the centre of Le Mans so we could find some dinner. Very comfortable, modern, clean.

Stayed here Sunday the 16th Sept 2012. The welcome was good the rooms very nice (had 2 next to each other), that however is where the pleasant experience finished.
