We were pretty sure, even before we got there, that we would like the Tardif Noble Guesthouse when we toured Normandy earlier this month. The only downside was that you have to arrive before they close for the night, a point which the owner/proprietor makes clear when you make a reservation. Since we had to come from Paris (by train),...

The Hotel Tardif in Bayeux is a chateau centrally located, convenient for the famous tapestry and almost next door to the magnificent cathedral. A short walk away from the shopping streets and restaurants, it makes an ideal stopover in this attractive city.
The facilities are excellent. The rooms are filled with antiques and beautiful fabrics, furniture, and bedlinens. The bathrooms...

We stayed for 2 nights at the charming Hotel Tardif in Bayeux, France. This place has everything going for it. It's a small hotel--an old home turned into more of a B & B than a hotel. The manager, Anthony was quite accommodating and speaks English well. Our room was small but very clean and comfy. The breakfast for $9E...

My husband and I stayed at the Le Tardif Noble Guesthouse in late April 2012. Anthony, the owner, was very kind and our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are beautiful as was the town of Bayeux.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a fabulous stay. The guesthouse is right in the heart of Bayeux literally in the shadow of its beautiful cathedral and a 5 minute walk from the legendary tapestry. There are also a number of restaurants within easy walking distance - I would recommend Le Petit Normand.
The guesthouse is set in a lovely...

We stayed at Hotel Tardif Noble Guesthouse for one night and were warmly greeted by its young owner who was very nice and helpful at all times. The hotel is a beautiful 17th century stone building, perfectly situated a few steps from the Bayeux Tapestry museum, the Cathedral and the most recommended restaurants in town. Since we were travelling with...

My wife and I stayed for a night at Hotel Tardif Noble Guesthouse. It is a tranquil spot, opposite the cathedral. Tardif Noble is a magnificent 17th century building with an extraordinarily beautiful staircase, a grand courtyard and park-like grounds. It was a moving experience to stay there and we enjoyed it very much.
Our room had an unusual antique...

After attending a wedding in Paris, we wanted to tour Normandy and the beaches. The description of this hotel by Rick Steves appealed to me and we were so happy that we decided to stay here. Upon arrival, Anthony greeted us, helped us with our luggage, parked the car ( it was nice to have a safe area to park)...

My husband has been reluctant to stay in B&Bs due to some uncomfotable situations we've had in the US. This place has convinced him that B&Bs can actually be real gems! Easy to find, perfectly situated in Bayeux, convenient to walking the town, and the friendliest host around, Le Tardid Noble Guesthouse was just perfect for us. Our room was...
