Selected the hotel because of proximity to the train station as we were using Toulouse as our base for visiting other places. The best part of the hotel was its English speaking staff. Everyone was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions, switching rooms, etc. They were always asking how they could help us. We stayed in two different rooms. Both... More

The title here is really the most important thing you will get from this review or the other reviews. I wish I had researched this place more carefully myself. The hotel is in the midst of renovations. Some rooms have been completely renovated, as shown in the nice photos here and on the hotel website. There are lots of positive... More

Dear Sir, The pictures you have taken come from two rooms of the Chartreuse where you stay with your colleague. Your opinion is very relevant and chambers of the Chartreuse (range club from the hotel Riquet ) are not yet at the executive or executive suites level of the Hotel Riquet). The hotel is constantly being renewed and the room... More

Hotel Riquet was a late minute find on our driving trip around France. We called them to see if there were any rooms available and they said yes. Out of desperation we took the room they offered to us and did not ask for the cheapest room; I’m pretty sure they put us in the executive suite room on the... More

Hello Kimmydotcom, First and foremost, many thanks for your input, it is always good to recieve feedback from last minute/ one night stay / guests who tend to be blunter about their first opinion. Yours had been reviewed by the whole reception staff and I would like to point out that having keys on the board doesn't systematically mean having... More

The hotel Riquet has at present 2 different area: one already renovated and another one still to be renovated; unfortunately we had a room in this last one. The room was big and clean but not at the level of a 3 stars hotel: we had problem with the toilt, the air conditioning and there was not frigo bar, very... More

Dear Silvia, Many thanks for your input. Hôtel Riquet has been undergoing serious renovation work -almost continuously- for the last 10 years or so. Again, I sincerely apologize for your negative experience with us and would like to reaffirm our invitation for you and your family once refurbishment of the Chartreuse is completed. We have a lot of novelties and... More

A nice hotel, very good location, close to the subway and the train station, but in a calm area at the same time, moreover in a walking distance from the down-town. Friendly staff, no problems with communication in English. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. More

This was booked quite late, so I ended up staying in an executive suite, rather than a basic room, as that was all that was still available. The room was clean, nicely decorated and quite well-appointed ubt it was just a big bedroom - not a suite with separate sitting and bed rooms. Fast fee wi-fi available, which always scores... More

A friend and I were doing some travelling out of Toulouse and needed a hotel for three different times over period of three weeks. She left it to me to choose. I had stayed a few times at a hotel with a wonderful view, but it had become rather pricey. The Riquet has recently become a 3-star hotel, and appealed... More

Like all hotel rooms in France, the quarters are small, but the hotel staff are multilingual, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to both the Matibiau SNCF train/bus station and the Metro line about 400 meters away. I walked to Capitole and beyond easily, and there are both restaurants and a couple of grocers within a few blocks.... More

We stayed one night before a flight to Paris and ended up with a family suite in the annex at the back of the hotel. The two adjoining rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, but overall the feel was a little run down. The bathroom had seen better days - worn paint, mould, chipped tiles and fittings etc. But... More
