I was attracted to the hotel from the website and it did not let us down. In front of the main entrance to the Castle but cleverly planted so not over looked. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Porte Narbonnaise, which I assume, is the main entrance to the walled city. It takes less than a minute to enter the city from the hotel. But, I suspect that in high season there maybe quite a bit of traffic noise as the tourist buses disgorge their passengers at the Porte entrance.... More

We stayed here for one night after spending the entire day visiting the castle. This hotel was very comfortable and just steps from the castle entrace. The beds were incredibly comfortable (hotel collection). There was private, safe parking and the outdoor grounds had places to sit and enjoy the night views of Carcassone castle. More
