Ultra modem hotel seems a bit out of place in the shadows of the medieval castle/fortress. Very conveniently located. Rooms were clean and average size. We were fortunate to have a terrace outside our room. Walls are paper thin!

This was a great find directly across from Cacassonne. This is a complex of a few hotels that all have the same check in. To greet you are the chubbiest Chocolate Lab and Bassett Hound I've ever had the privilege to pet. This hote l is effectively the annexe across the street of the more costly Hotel du Chateau. There are no dedicated staff on site but guests enjoy the use of the sister hotel's pool, bar and restaurant. A good base for exploring this UNESCO heritage site on foot for those without a car.
