We stayed for 2 nights in a cahutte. The kids loved it and thought it was a real adventure. We enjoyed it too as it was near enough to camping to be fun, but with all mod cons such as a shower, kitchen and a lovely wood burner. The site is a very short walk from the train station which... More

Stayed at Huttopia Versailles for 3 nights in July 2010. We camped in our own tent on a plot with no electricity. Toilet facilities were a short walk further up the site, the showers in particular were immaculate. Good washing up facilities also. There is a nice small pool on site as well as a small bar/cafe serving really good... More

As per other reviews this is a nice looking site and has potential. It is also extremely handy for campers wishing to visit here and Paris. If you aren't on a camping tour I would recommend you go to a cheap b&b instead. If you do stay on the tent area though, this place is horrible. There are three huge... More

We stayed for 6 nights with our caravan, which included the All Saints Day weekend break. Previous reviewers have covered most good & bad points - the main point to be aware of is the shoddy standard of the sanitary facilities. These were obviously good when they were new, but have been allowed to fall into disrepair - two of... More

This was our first campsite in Europe. The setting within the trees are lovely, very peaceful. First impression was great. We asked for a pitch close to the shower facilities. We got a espace pitch which is a larger one. The shower faciities are mixed which was fine. Although reasonably clean it could have been given more attention. They have... More

We visited for three nights following a trip to the Dordogne. The sat- nav was essential for getting us through the Paris suburbs to the site but when we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The electricity connection required a long lead which to be fair was mentioned in the brochure but we borrowed one from reception with... More

The pitches are tiny - cheek by jowl with the people on the pitches next to and behind you. The ground is hard and sloping. The sanitary facilities appear to be quite new, but are already not working (no cold water, just hot from fancy mixer taps). The eco message seems to serve mainly as an excuse for cutting back... We stayed for 4 days at this well located site with our two young daughters and had a great time cycling to Versailles, travelling to Paris and relaxing by the lovely pool and playground. However we were lucky to have booked a cahutte which gave us a bit more elbow room compared to the poor people in tents who were... More

A pleasant cabin set in the middle of woodlands which can sleep up to six people. The cabin was well equipped, everything that you could need in a kitchen. There is a lovely pool which both children enjoyed and a bar with wifi. Staff were very friendly, speaking very good English in response to my very poor French. The real... More

Great campsite within easy reach of Versailles and its palace and Paris. Yes the campsite is about a 10 minute walk to the station and its then 1 stop to Versailles in one direction and about 20 minutes in the other to the Eiffel Tower. Pitches are a little haphazard with some in full shade and some in sun. I... More
