Conveniently located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, a short walk from the very exclusive and internationally known Roland Garros tennis stadium and only few minutes’ drive away from the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, the hotel Molitor sits in a stunning Art Deco building. Molitor is an absolute gem, an icon for any Parisian. Well known since its opening as the most exclusive swimming pool in Paris for its avant-garde ambiance. It saw the launching of the first bikini in 1946 and later became the temple of the underground scene from 1989 to 2011. In 2014, Molitor was reborn with an entirely new dimension: The 5* hotel Molitor Club and Spa by M Gallery Hotel Collection. A perfect marriage of luxury, lifestyle and art, all embraced by our unique signature pools. With 124 rooms including 7 suites, private terraces and amazing views over the 44m outdoor pool, the hotel is a special destination in itself. Clients can enjoy an all-day dinning international cuisine at the Molitor Brasserie or taste one of our detox juices at the 1929 lounge & bar before pampering themselves at our 13 treatment room Spa by Clarins. The Molitor experience is different and all-encompassing. From the arrival in the lobby where the 1984 Rolls Royce tagged by the popular JonOne artist stands, the varied event spaces, including a rooftop terrace, to the street-art displays that adorn the walls and the Art Cabins surrounding the indoor pool that clients can visit with our Art Director. Committed to a more sustainable hospitality, Molitor is proud to be Green Globe certified.

The pools are spectacular and this is why I return but the restaurant seems to be closed regularly for private events with few options in the area and check-in does not inform of this, rooms are average, not really 5* but still comfortable and very good beds. It is more a 4* with a huge pool.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is amazing and unique. We normally stay in a 5 star hotel in Paris once a year and this will now always be our first choice. I'm almost reluctant to tell you how good this hotel is in case they are fully booked ! It is a historic building (google it !) that has been wonderfully restored. Now it has fantastic rooms, brilliant staff and that's before I mention the swimming pools and club facilities. I arrived grumpy and left feeling so relaxed. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff who kept our room super clean.

What makes this hotel is the pool in the middle and the indoor pool. Clearly, this building has a lot of history and that is the USP they clearly play on. The rooms are very average, with not much decor, and very few amenities. In the Summer, the rooftop bar and restaurant make it a fun place to be at, and the food is good. However, they close the rooftop bar and restaurant in the Winter, and the downstairs bar and restaurant are a little bit grim. Also, they are very seldom open, so they push you to the health club bar, where the choices are very limited. They also close the bar very early (we tried to get a drink at 10:30 and it was closed... Certainly not what you would expect out of a 5 star hotel. The hotel is also not close to anything, so if you visit in the Winter, there's not much to do around it, which really bodes the question as to why they don't invest in the communal places?? We found the staff nice enough, but obviously not able to do anything about what I would assume are economical decisions around services... At roughly €450 a night, you would rightly expect a lot more out of a hotel. If there were a seasonal rating, I'd say probably 5 stars in summer, but definitely not in winter...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate your detailed insights into your experience at our hotel, especially during the different seasons. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the unique feature of our hotel – the central and indoor pools – as well as the historical charm that we take pride in. We also appreciate your kind words about our staff and the positive experience you had during the summer months, enjoying the rooftop bar and restaurant along with the delicious food. Your concerns regarding the winter experience are noted, and we genuinely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during your stay. We understand that the closure of the rooftop facilities and limited options in the downstairs bar and restaurant, especially during the winter months, impacted your overall experience. We will certainly review our seasonal offerings to ensure a more consistent and enjoyable stay for our guests year-round. Regarding the early closure of the bar and limited choices at the club bar, we sincerely apologize for any disappointment caused. We will work on addressing these concerns to provide a more satisfying experience for our guests in the future. We value your feedback as it helps us enhance our services. Please be assured that your comments will be shared with all our management team for further evaluation and improvement. We strive to exceed our guests' expectations, and your input is instrumental in achieving that goal. Once again, we apologize for any inconveniences you experienced and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved and memorable stay. Best regards, Antoine Chauveau Quality Director

The first night, I was told to take taxi to change hotel at 2am at night when complaining no water for shower. I was offered 5 small bottles of drinking water to wash my face and brush teeth at the end. The whole hotel had no water supply because of a pipe burst at the basement. The second day, the entire hotel had no internet. I checked out of the hotel on the third day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced, particularly the lack of water supply for showering and the absence of internet during your stay. We deeply regret the challenges you faced on the first night, including the inconvenience of being directed to change hotels in the middle of the night. We understand how frustrating this must have been for you. The disruption in water supply due to a basement pipe burst was an unexpected and regrettable incident caused by the construction work being done around the hotel. Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We assure you that we took the necessary steps to fix the issue and prevent such occurrences in the future. We genuinely regret that your stay fell short of expectations, and we hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you in the future, providing you with the level of service and comfort that you rightfully deserve. Sincerely, Antoine Chauveau Quality Director

Great accommodations, the room was great. The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions, arranging taxis, and all things related to Paris. They even arranged breakfast for us when we had an early departure for a tour of the Loire Valley. Especially outstanding was the breakfast buffet, made even more special by Eduard. He was very personable and worked so hard to serve us in such an exceptional way.
