“Now l'Hotel Montparnasse Saint Germain”

I moved around the corner from the filthy hotel I had originally booked and what a difference. The hotel and room were spotless, the heating worked (essential in November) and the bathroom was a marble tiled joy with both shower and bath and all manner of goodies including shaving kit, dental kit, cotton buds etc as well as the things... This hotel has changed it's name to Hotel St Germain Montparnasse, Rue du Depart - and changed its status from 2 star to 3 star. It is at the 'commercial' end of the Boulevard Monparnasse - and not the chic end - but very handy for the metro and cafes! Firstly I shall always be grateful to the hotel for... More
