When you get over the first months of a relationship you discover that your girlfriend (or boyfriend) is a human being and not a celestial being made of perfection: there are very good things and maybe there are very baaaad things... Well, the Aloha Hostel is like a girlfriend / boyfriend after those first months... It has some baaaad things:... More

The hostel is a pretty typical one- four or six person dorm rooms with shared bathrooms (I thought there could have been one more bathroom for the number of people on my floor, but oh well). Some of the reviews made it seem awful, but I thought it was pretty typical and about what you get for the price in... More

Location: 5 minute walk to a metro station but station is not a main line so it's semi-difficult to get to anywhere because of the necessary changes. I've stayed around the city and this area is ok but I would check out others first. Wi-Fi only works in the common area and is extremely slow. Rooms are average. Mine had... More

We travelled to Paris this February and had booked the hostel well in advance for a very good price. We were all extremely worried after reading so many awful reviews on trip advisor and even tried to book into other places. However, when we arrived it was a huge relief! The hostel is absolutely fine, the reviews are extremely overdramatic.... More

On reading these reviews that called Aloha a 'rat infested hell hole' I was on the verge of cancelling my booking for me and my friends but fortunately we decided to stick with it and it turned out to be exactly what we needed! The staff were really helpful and spoke excellent English when we struggled to communicate in French-... More

I have been travelling for 3 months now, staying in hostels this whole time and this is by far the most overpriced hostel I have err stayed in. The staff are rude, the location isn't great, but most importantly it is dirty and unhygienic. To start with, you don't even get sheets for your bed or pillow, so I am... More

After traveling for 2 months around Europe, we unfortunately ended our trip at the Aloha Hostel in Paris. If you can stay anywhere else, and I mean ANYWHERE, stay there. Location was okay, but far from tourist sights. The front desk staff were HORRIBLE. Incredibly rude and condescending. We had to pay 7 Euros each for sheets that were dirty... More

I have stayed in quite a few hostels so I am not comparing this to a Hotel but it was really bad. The staff at the front was reasonably helpful and the rooms were reasonably clean but the shared bathrooms were not tolerable. I went two days without showering because I would be cleaner just by staying out of the... More

The room I stayed in fit 6 people which was perfect for our group of 6. The staff is very helpful and nice. The wifi there is about slow. They have a full kitchen downstairs and you am cook your own meals. Alcohol is not allowed in the rooms so put it in a bag if you choose to drink.... More
