Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in April. Great location...however...room was tidy but not particularly clean (although bedding was clean) and very dingy too. This place seriously needs refurbishment. I had a single room (number 105) and I'm sure the bed belongs to Baby Bear (no 6 footers welcome here). The lift (or was it a dumb waiter?) was... More

I stayed here for the Paris marathon and at 95 Euros a room you can't argue. The hotel is old and the rooms very basic, but perfectly clean and ideal for just sleeping after a visit. Service was great, the manager let me shower in another room after the race and there is WiFi for just 2 euro a day.... More

A quick walk from train station, this hotel proved to be the best value hotel that I have stayed in Paris. Very accessible and in a safe area. The staff were pleasant and spoke a little English. The rooms are basic and for some travellers would not be value for money.... but this is Paris and accomodation is expensive... I... More

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, some spoke a few words English. The room was 'basic', on the 3rd floor at the street side. The noise of the traffic did not border us. Everything was clean, the bed OK and the TV had also German and English spoken canals. The hotel... More

Really do not worth the money. The room was quite small and cold (5th floor) with not a pleasant smell in WC. The lift was not working, so it was necessary to get up and down by foot (not so pleasant after whole day walking over Paris). The WiFi is available only in the lobby. Really would not stay in... Nice comfortable rooms (curtains really thick so was able to sleep in ...), friendly staff, breakfast available for 7 euros, close to metro station but a little far from main attractions (chose this hotel because of proximity to Palais des Congrès).

Residence Villiers has location for it, for sure. It is a few blocks from the Arch D'Triomphe, literally just across the street from the Wagram Metro stop, it has Restaurants and Cafes close by. It is a Hotel in some decline -- it used to be a 3 Star, but now is a 2, as clearly illustrated on its sign... More

If you only need a room to sleep after walking around Paris all day then the hotel is just fine. Our room was OK (a bit of renovation wouldn't hurt though), clean and quiet - though it was facing a very busy boulevard we could hardly hear any noise from there. However we could here quite distinctly when our neighbours... More

The Residence Villiers is in a nice area of town but to say it's near the Arch de Triomphe is a stretch of the imagination. It's a good 25-30 min walk away. The hotel is clean and relatively modern. They do have free wireless internet but only in the lobby which is frustrating. The rooms are nicely appointed with clean... More

A very friendly small hotel with a great location - just 2 minutes walk to Wagram metro station. Room was clean and bathroom very acceptable. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast too! Possibly a candidate for the world's smallest lift!
