I had a great experience staying at Hotel Massena and would highly recommend it! The facility is very clean and modern w/ fast free WiFi. I found the room size to be typical for Europe (not large, but spacious enough) and with a huge renovated bathroom. It is on a relatively quiet street so noise was not an issue at... More

I stayed here in March. I had a room near the top of the hotel, under the roof, facing the street. The room and hotel are perfectly nice! Clean, decently and relatively newly furnished. The bathroom was clean and fine. It did not smell at all, as people have reported. There was no noise from the street (though I didn't... More

I agree with other reviewers - if you are planning to come with someone, do NOT book a standard double - it's far too small, dingy and smelly. There is no place to store your luggage, really. Ask for a "deluxe" it's been remodeled, much spacier, newer, better. Receptionists are very nice, avoid room service - they do not cook... More

We got to the hotel on christmas eve and let me say... what a sad christmas eve.....the room was extremely small we could barely fit, we had to leave our bags in the bathroom!! I stayed at Hotel Massena with my mother and sister for two nights in their triple room. The room had not been serviced when I came in even though they knew of our arrival. I found the room to be extremely small, old, dirty with stains on the carpet and smelly (not at all like in the pictures). The corridors... More

This hotel is located in a great centrally located area of Paris, close to the shops at Galeries Lafayette and lots of nearby shopping. It provides easy access to lots of public transportation although nearly anywhere within the city you'd stay could offer that given how good the Paris public transportation is. Aesthetically this is a very cute boutique hotel... More

My husband and I just got back from our week-long trip, aka honeymoon, in Paris. We stayed at La Massena Hotel. It is very convenient to everything. I love food. I have L'Ecluse wine bar, Fauchon, Maxim, Paul Boulangerie, a few steps away. The hotel is a heaven for shopping lovers. Printemps and Galerie Lafayette in the north and Faubourg... More

Has to be a gem, doesn't it, if it is affordable, beatifully-run by warm and friendly staff, who keep it spotlessly clean, and is RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of PARIS. Most travellers would say those things just don't go together! At the Massena, they do. It might be unique. I have been staying there several times a year for more... More

My partner and I have just returned from a two-night stay at the Massena. We wanted to be in rue Tronchet because of its excellent position . I had previously stayed at the Opal, on the other side of the street, but it has been revamped and upgraded to a 4 star establishment, and I NEVER stay more than 3... More

very great location near Madeleine, very steps from all the sightseeings: Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome,Opera Garnier, Champs Elysees, Trocadero, Montmartre, Louvre etc not very communicative and friendly staff, lack of interest for the guests of the hotel.
