Though our stay at the hotel was relatively pleasant - despite the tiny room and rude staff members - we were surprised (to say the least) to find ourselves covered in bed bug bites while on the plane back from Paris. We even found a bug crawling on our bed and didn't make the connection. Stay away!

Summary: After all a bad experience and I would not recommand this hotel. Especially as frequent traveller I already seen bad hotels, but for that price you would definetly expect something else. location: ok, easy to reach by metro, very central location, 10 minutes walk to metro, interesting area, good connection general impression: old fashioned, dark and outdated furniture. This small, boutique spot in the Opera district near the Grand Boulevards metro stop and Montmarte Blvd. is part of a chain called Les Hotels De Paris, so we thought that the standards would be similar to those of other chains. We were wrong. Other than the location and the friendly and helpful desk personnel (no scowls for our lack... More

Stayed there for 4 days on for a combination business and leisure trip. If you havent stayed in Paris before you might be shocked by the size of the room. It's small! But then again while in Paris you shouldnt be spending too much time in that cramped space. The hotel is located on a moderately quiet street. I had... More

The hotel mucked up the booking for my partner and I and we got a twin bed room not a double, as we had requested, overlooking the main road and a shower, no bath. We asked to change and they offered us a very dark room overlooking an interior courtyard. The courtyard had an interior roof in it which was... More

We had booked to stay not in the Grand Boulevards but the St Augustin - upon arrival were told that there was a prob with our room and we were being moved to a hotel of the same standard - 10 mins away - GB. First impressions not good - the area was a lot more run-down. I wouldn't say... More

Hey there, we - my boyfried and me - stayed at the Pavillon Opera Grands Boulevards [---] in January 2006, and we loved it. It's certainly a great hotel in a very nice and lively area close to the opera. The hotel rooms are relatively small (that's normal for Paris, I don't know why people keep complaining), but our room... More

Stayed here last weekend, had phoned a couple of weeks before to ask for a nice room and was assured by reception that all the rooms were large and people even commented that they hoped they were not paying the suite rate. On arrival we checked into our room, which just fitted a double bed and it smelled of smoke,... More

Stayed at the Pavillon Opera Grands Blvd in early December 2004. I had expected a very nice modern room given the descriptions I had seen on various travel sites. On the positive side, the hotel was refurbished just a couple of years ago and it is two blocks from a metro station. Depending on your preferences you may or may... More

Having stayed in Paris last week in record breaking heat, I thanked my lucky stars I had booked at this hotel! At the last minute I changed my bookings thru a discount site as this hotel had air conditioning. Besides that, the rooms were well furnished with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful,... More
