There was an odd smell in our bathroom which wasnt very plesant. The rooms are small and cramped. I would recommend staying at a hostel over this place.

The Hotel Garden is in a nice area, it's cheap enough and is well connected for transports. However, it's currently under renovation which means that there is building work happening although this is only disturbing if you are planning a lie in.
No breakfast room on offer due to the works but frankly there's a really nice bakery just down...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this 'hotel' which would more accurately be called a hostel. I think your experience would depend on which room you had been allocated.
When we arrived we were put into room 101 (ominously!) and it was hideous - view of a wall, tiny dark room and bathroom with broken shower...

nearby park for kids, 5 min to metro, supermarket close by, bakery close by,
you can easily have your own breakfast and supper in the room,
quite clean,
very kind staff, especially the bold guy, speaking good English, making reservation to the airport, keeping the trolley
