Stayed at Royal Hotel in Paris for a long weekend before Christmas. Had a wonderful time. The hotel was great..., clean, comfortable, friendly & helpful staff, brilliant location very close to Arc de Triomphe and champs élysées. We were travelling with our 13 year old. The extra bed was comfortable and the room was large enough for us. This was surprisingly nice given the negative comments of some reviews on this web site. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding!

Plus: Location Negative: Booked a superior room for romantic stay. Room had twin beds. Was rventually re located to double room which was exactly the same so I can only think that you pay extra for the view with the superior room.
