We found this hotel to be ideal for us. It is a short walk to The Arch de Triumph and approximately 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower (all downhill). It is in a quiet cul de sac and the fresh food market just around the corner adds to the ideal location. The rooms are small but this is Paris, they... More

We stayed at La Villa Alessandra for 5 nights and found this to be a reasonably comfortable and convenient hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor with windows that opened out onto the cobbled cul-de-sac below, providing a quaint and authentic view. The room was smallish but we were only sleeping and showering there so it provided what we... More

Nicely situated within a 10 minute walk of the Arc de Triomphe, this is a small yet comfortable hotel, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, which gives you peace and quiet at night. With a bathroom on suite, the bedroom was comfortable although not that large. The hotel does not have much to offer by way of amenities, but... More

My mom and I stayed here on our vacation and upon checking in and settling into our hotel discovered massive black mold on the ceiling. This had clearly been there for a while. The otherwise rude staff member did immediately switch our rooms and although this one did not have visible mold, it still smelled moldy. So look up if... More

We stayed for three days at the Hotel Villa Alessandra. The small hotel is very cute and conveniently located in Paris. Taxi fare from Austerlitz train station was about 20 Euros. Hotel is walking distance to Arc de Triumph and Eiffel Tower. Metro station at "Ternes" is about a block away and your gateway to all the Paris sights. The... More

Pros - right near the Metro, right across the street from a Monoprix (closest thing to a wawa/sheetz/711 in Paris), beautiful and pretty safe area, clean rooms, normal showers, friendly hotel staff. Cons - you do have to collect a physical key every time you come back to the hotel (but it really wasn't that annoying), there's no pool or... More

The former reviews are true, printed confirmation means nothing and you will be shunted away across town to an inferior hotel in an inferior location, for the same price. The replacement accommodation was rubbish, but having paid in advance what are you to do. Avoid at all costs. For a similar price book the adagio Eiffel towers, we spent four... More

We stayed here for a week at the start of April 2012. It was a great little hotel, clean, friendly staff, close proximity to EVRYTHING! Yes it is a little hard to find when first getting to it but you soon realise that it is a perfect location- 500m to the arc de triomphe and Champs Elysee, 200m to the... More

This hotel was better than expected.(Especially as some reviews have not been good.) Located just around the corner from a fabulous market selling beautiful fresh produce. The rooms were small but that is normal in Paris, 10 minutes walk from the Arc de Triompe so good central location. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and... More

Although French regulations don't deal with trivial matters and only judge by surfaces, watercloset facilities etc, we, simple tourists, base our jusgments on small things. Such as no bathrobe available, even on demand, no writing material whatsoever, a cigarette burn on the plastic washbasin, no bedside rug, a non functioning radiator in the bathroom, no batteries in the safe upon...
