In this hotel you get what you paid for! Location is excellent but that is all. Disadvantage workman were working on the ceiling outside our room so dust everywhere and tools. Hallway and stairs need a good hoover! Housekeeper would enter our room when we were in to clean felt very uncomfortable. You can hear the metro from our room... More

We stayed at this hotel all of 1 might while spending the weekend in Paris. Advantages its on one of the major tube lines and is very close to the metro, got little shops around, and lots of restaurants, staff very friendly, hotel was clean, bed linen was clean, could hear the metro at times but otherwise quiet. We got... More

I cannot recommend this hotel at all. The location is excellent but that is all. The breakfast was terrible. The phone in the room did not work and I asked for an extra blanket which arrived 24 hours later. They changed our room and there was no shower curtain - so the whole bathroom was wet. There were no glasses,... More

This is a budget hotel in a good location. The rooms are basic but quiet and clean and we had no complaints! Comfy bed and a hot shower! We certainly did not have the experience expressed in other reviews. Breakfast? Why would you eat in a hotel? You are in Paris! Get a crepe in one of the many places... More

Really old and smelly. The service is very inefficient, the rooms are poor and not clean. Breakfast is very expensive and low quality. The day I left the hotel I asked to leave my luggage there just for 3 hours and I had to pay 2 euros! The Staff at reception is really arrogant.

Hotel Renoir is disgusting. It is old, smelly, dirty, poor light and has horrible service! Do not have breakfast because it is not included in the price per night. They charge you 10 euros each for a glass of juice a 2 frozen croissant. Just avoid it!!!

poor service, very expensive breakfast, well best part of £40 for two mediocre stale croissants and battery acid coffee. Luggage left on return day for a few hours, charge 2euro a case. Never again. Look elsewhere folks Dave

First of all, I wish to say that Paris is an incredible city and Montparnasse quite a lovely area. However, my girlfriend and I booked this hotel through Eurostar under the assumption that it would be at very least a respectable place. Alas, we received quite a shock. The room was tiny and the walls paper thin. You could hear... More

This has to be the most horrid place in Paris (Wonderful City), we visited with dear friends for a 40th wedding only to be placed in different branches of the hotel, this was sorted by moving us into dirty rooms at 39 top of the street, this sorted they moved us into another set of rooms, bed, shower, toilet and... After booking through Eurostar and viewing the photos on the website we chose this hotel. Arrived to be told we were not in the part represented in photos but in THE DUMP up the road. The room smelt to high heaven and we had to sleep with the window open (thus hearing all the noises of the night) to combat... More
