Totally disapointed from the second that i walk into the hotel. Unfriendly receptionist,Dull hotel and rooms not that great either with Aircon not working. We stayed at this hotel in April 2012 for a few midweek nights. The hotel was in a great location (opposite the National Library which they are currently renovating) but it certainly wasn't a 4 star hotel. I have just return from a business trip and sped 2 nights. I thought it would have been a 4 stars,unfortunatelly i can say maybe max 3! rooms okish,no aircon (Was not working) so hot in the evening and freezing at night! Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, we were 2 adults and 3 children they gave us a large room with a loft, the setup was perfect. Nice beds good bathrooms Breakfast was adequate Location was great 10 minutes to the Louvre or the Opera house Would recommend to families if you can get the large bedrooms

Small rooms, bad receptionist people and no breakfast included - please think twice before you book this hotel. Hoped it would have been a better hotel in Paris. There is huge difference of price for standard room and superior room but the rooms looks the same :( On top there is no room service!!

Malte Opera is situated within walking distance from many main attractions like the Louvre. The area itself is a bit run down but has several restaurants (many Asian?!). For an overnight stay, I only remember impressions now. It is centrally located but that means you still need to walk quite a distance every time anywhere.
