We stayed 2 nights at GHL last week (5/21 and 5/22).... we got the "superior room" on the backside of the hotel. While small - I think it was great. The bed was comfortable enough... the room was nice enough and I got some exercise climbing the 5 flights of stairs... or is it 6? The lift wasn't scary -... More

I reserved a standard room for 75 Euros/night for three nights in a "standard" room a couple of months in advance, and requested to be waitlisted for an additional 3 nights if a room became available. A few days before my arrival, I received a confirmation for three additional nights at 85 Euros/night for a "superior" room. When I checked... More

This hotel is clean but provides only the very basic needs of a traveler - a bed, shower and soap (combined shampoo, conditioner and body soap located in the shower on the wall.) No one helps with the bags, you have to leave the one and only key to the room at the front desk every time you leave the... More

By American standards the rooms are tiny, but that is everywhere in Europe. We had just enough room to put luggage on the side of each of the beds. I was traveling wit a friend and we had a room with two twin beds pushed together. The beds were comfortable and we had a back room off the street so... More

We have stayed several times at the Grand Hotel LeVeque and we did not expect more than we received. It is on a superb street, near Eiffel Tour and reasonable. If I had the inclination to invest I would renovate this little gem and you would beg to get a room for a week. It is about location and feel.... More

This is my second time staying at the Grand Hotel Leveque - and there's a reason I went back. You don't have a better Paris experience than staying on Rue Cler - plus an extra added benefit - a laundrymat right around the corner!. I was also surprised at the updates made to the hotel since I last stayed there... More

Located in a very elegant area (7me arrondissement) and in a lively street, this little hotel (two stars) is affordable for staying in the centre of Paris at a quite reasonable price (double room at 122 Euro per night, breakfast excluded). The room (it was the number 35) is pretty small, just enough for two people with no huge baggage;... More

We stayed in a triple room on the top floor, overlooking Rue Cler. The balcony was magical at night, with a view of the top third of the Eiffel Tower. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was updated and modern, with bright lighting and good water pressure in the shower. We used the stairs all the time; even... More

We stayed here because we had stayed here twice before, we love the street with all the shops but the hotel was looking a little tired. All the carpet pulled upon our floor and several areas needing paint. If you are going to put me on a floor where all the carpet is pulled up for my entire stay I... More

As I write this review, I am keeping in mind that European hotel amenities are not as luxurious as what Americans are used to. My room was on the 3rd floor; there was an elevator available, but it was so small that I took the stairs instead. It was a very small room with a big window, a bathroom, and... More
