the hotel is situated in a small street right next to the metro station, but you can reach city centre on foot (a 10 to 15 minutes walk). The hotel is quite nice, the rooms are not too big, but big enough, there is a flatscreen and one of the three sockets will work if you are lucky. They have... More

This hotel was actually ok, the staff werent very talkative but where ok enough to manage. The rooms where clean but very small, we got over this though because you are in Paris, you shouldnt be in your room too much anyway. There are loads of nice places to eat close by, especially in the republique area and the metro... More

The rooms were pretty clean. It's half a block from the Oberkampf metro station, and the neighbourhood feels safe and I had no problem walking around there. Close to cafes, bars, and a laundromat. Breakfast was good for a 'continental breakfast'; croissant, bun, salami, cheese, cereal, coffee, orange and apple juice. The beds were pretty good. Showers were way too... More

This hotel is ok. Rooms were decently clean. Shower was awful, so tiny, but bearable for 3 or 4 days. Breakfast is quite nice. Staff do not really speak to you. Hotel is good as a base for group trips and mates but I definately wouldn't recommend it for couples.

About what you would expect from an "inexpensive" ($125 - $130 per day Plus $11 for breakfast). The room was small, the bathroom was smaller. The furnishings were old and the beds were not particularly comfortable. Having said all that, it was a good location and the staff was accomodating. A little, but important point, the coffee was excellent. I... More

Myself anf 4 friends stayed at this hotel at the end of March for 3 nights. It was picked mainly based on price point for 4 people travelling together. Upon arrival, we were surprised at how complicated it was to find based on the directions we were given, but once we did we were very relieved. It is situated in... More

I went here with my school this week and we were all amazed at how terrible it was. The room is small, bathrooms dirty and beds uncomfortable. The balcony's are very dodgy!! (bend if you stand on them) so don't risk walking on them if you do go there! On our second day there, we went down to breakfast and... More

My wife & I stayed there and booked and paid for 4 nights in advance. "BIG MISTAKE" tiny, noisy, dirty room. Do yourself a favour if you stupid enough to stay there. Peel back the sheets and yiu will probably find a stained, dirty mattress protector with hairs all over it. The African room service ladys where lovely and changed... More

Yes, this hotel is used by lots of school / student groups and, being a long time leader of one, you can see why. It does the job very well. I would not choose to stay here if visiting with partner / family etc but it makes for a very convenient and pleasant stay if there are no other groups... More

Cosy hotel, border Marais, near Place Republique. Plus: location, metro 50 mtrs, quiet area, clean, owner very freindly. Minus: small room, very small bathroom, one of employees impolite.
