This is a really lovely 4-star tourist hotel but you are paying extra for the great location. The Hotel Regina is an older Grande Dame, more chic than shabby fortunately. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Concierge staff did an amazing job organizing day trips and taking care of special requests. Room on the Rue de Rivoli side was very noisy and got extremely hot on sunny days--NO A/C in room. Courtyard room was very peaceful in contrast. Overall the stay was delightful

This was our third visit to the Regina in 11 years including twice in the last year and a half and this was definitely the best. Recent refurbishments have made a big difference all round.
