-
We are in a very old building, dating back from Louis XIII and built for the Marquis de Joyeuse. It is located 2mn away from the Place des Vosges and 5mn from the Musée Picasso. In the next block, you find the historical museum of the city of Paris (free entrance) and the house of Victor Hugo (free entrance) is at the corner of the Place des Vosges. Just downstairs, on the other side of the street, there is a very nice Boulangerie where we fetch the bread, croissants and pains au chocolats in the morning, warm from the oven. But the drawback is that we have no lift! You have to climb 84 stairs to arrive here and to be able to look at the Toits du Marais, a very nice view from the living room where you will have your breakfast in the morning. Our flat is simply different as we had to cope with history : both guest rooms share a large shower, the toilets are at the entrance, you pass through the kitchen... In short, you will enjoy a real parisian experience if you dare visit us!
