This is quite an impressive hotel, I've stayed there twice so far without any issues: - Location: 3 minutes walk from Trocadero metro (great view of the Eifell Tower from this area) - Reception: Friendly and helpful staff - Bar: Nice size, although I didn't stop for a drink - Rooms: I was upgraded.. my room was HUGE! Also lots... More

I stayed at the Ascott for 5 nights just before Eastern on a mix of business and private trip to Paris. As pointed by many, the location of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are spacious for Parisian standards and the bathroom is very well equiped and designed, featuring some very nice amenities from L'Occitane. There were, however, some major... More

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Paris and certainly not the most expensive. The location was great, a 10 min walk from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Tromphe. The fittings were all classy with expensive toiletries. The TV and music system were B&O, a first for a hotel of that class. There are some... More

I stayed at the Ascott for 6 nights and it was awesome. It is centrally located in Paris, one block from the Trocadero metro station. Trocadero square is only one block away where you can get a great shot of the eiffel tower. Go to the square in the morning and in the evening to get different shots of the... More

Very impressed from start to finish - they're in the process of renovating part of the building but there's no sign or sound anywhere in the hotel. Fantastic room - all Bang and Olufsen AV stuff, huge room. Two downsides: the first was the lack of a standup shower, but the huge bath-tub made up for it! Second was that... More

Stayed here for two nights at end of March 2012 as part of a Eurostar package. Staff were so helpful, invaluable advice on where to go and when enabled us to get the best from a short stay. Room was spacious, fridge stocked with soft drinks, they even provided me with a UK adapter when mine failed. Breakfast was simple,... More

Newly fitted out, I think, but the rooms were poorly furnished. There was no comfortable seating, for example, even though there was plenty of room. There was only a bath in my room - the shower spray could not really be used as there was no screen or curtain. The whole place felt like work in progress, at 230 euros... More

Unfortunately due to the lack of slope in the tiling, water from showering drips down the shower door onto the bathroom floor. This collects in the entrance corner and does not drain into the gutter in the middle. Have tried to soak that with lots of towels... But too much water!! The marble floor is very wet and slippery -... More

I checked in to stay for more than 3 days I was told the Tripadvisor coupon for free breakfast was not valid here( despite showing the reception the voucher from the Internet) but never mind - there is a nice bakery just outside where locals go with lovely baguettes and other times of bread! Also was told that bottled water... More

I took the trouble to research this hotel and called to make the booking as we needed a family holiday following the death of our daughter exactly a year ago. I booked a suite for my wife and two sons requesting a street view or Eiffle Tower view and balcony. On arrival I was told no such thing even exists.... More
