The hotel its self is a bit tired, in desperate need or modernization. The rooms were extremely small, bed spreads very worn and generally quite tatty. The mattress was old and tilted to one side and I slept with the sensation of always fall off of the bed. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast also was very good,... More

Whilst dirty, tiny and definitely not even a 2 star standard, this hotel had the perfect location with many places to eat and perfect walking distance to the Metro. In the room, the floor, walls and curtains were filthy, whilst the bed linen was brand new and clean; not that it was changed every day though. The bathroom was fine... More

If you want a romantic getaway then no this is not your hotel. But as far as location went, it rocked! The area itself has lots of places to eat and drink and price is good. There are three stations in walking distance, the closest is oberkampf. There is a food market open on Tuesdays and Fridays a block away.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mericourt hotel, rue de folies for three nights in August. We went with easy jet holidays and paid £160 for the flight and three nights which was very reasonable. The hotel is 2 star hotel but I found it to be in a perfect location, very near to the train station and the... More

Great location. Just on metro line 9, a few stops away from the "grands magasins" (Galerie Lafayette, Printemps), and a direct bus to Ile de la Cite, Saint Michel, Saint Germain. Loads of restaurants and bars around for dinner. Hotel staff is great and very helpful. Breakfastbis included in the price, and even if it is not a buffet style,... More

Nasty! I am not a diva, but for 89 euro a night this place made my skin crawl. the walls were filthy and yellowing, there was dirty cigarette burned carpet in the room, the beds were old and overed with black hair from a previous lodger, the bathroom had an overpowering stench, and to make matters worse there was construction... My boyfriend and I came here on holiday for a romantic getaway. When we arrived at 10pm we discovered we had been double booked, 3 hours later after trying to speak to the man at the desk (who didn't speak a word of english) to see what the problem was he finally said we could book a room for the... My partner and I were very pleased with accommodations at the Mericourt. It's a neighborhood (not so toursity) hotel with all the charm of Paris. We stayed on the top floor with double wide windows that we threw open for most of our stay. One nice thing about Paris, no insects, so no need for screens. The hotel is at... More

This is a small hotel in a trendy area of Paris with friendly staff and excellent value for money as continental breakfast is thrown in - orange juice, bread, jam, butter, croissant and pain au chocolat with decent coffee. Some hotels charge 9 or 10 euros for breakfast and it is cheaper then to go to the many cafes to... More
