Stayed at the hotel in April 2012 (two nights). Location is not bad: close to three metro stations, train station, not far from the Opera (20-25min walk), but the parallel street (from the train station to the hotel) is a sort of "immigrants ghetto". Our room was terrible- dirty, the bathroom has many stains, bed coverlet has grease stains. No... More

If you have big plans or dreams about being in Paris then this hotel is not for you. Its a pure economy hotel, cheaper for pocket with bare minimum requirements fulfilled. Rooms are alright if you are going to use them only for sleeping overnight and keeping your bags while you roam around in Paris. We stayed in this hotel... More

The location of the hotel itself is fantastic. It’s easy to walk into Paris centre (takes about 30 mins strolling) and also there is the main station of Gard le ‘est and Gard du Nord so you can get to it without too many issues from CDG when your flight comes in. The hotel itself was easy to find once... More

I got recommended this hotel. Not sure why!!! Room stunk of cigarette smoke, there was chewing gums in the curtains. We asked to get out room changed as my aunt was sick from the smell. She threw up! The area is a bit of a scare as well Breakfast was OK- But not to sure about the coffee- they microwave... More

Cute rooms, working baths and showers, the only downside was having to walk up 4 flights up the stairs to our room after a 10 hour venture from London. Other than that, was great and friendly.

When I asked hotel to send an invitation with the name of my wife indicated (we had to get the Shengen visas), the Hotel sent us an ordinary file in *.doc - format (instead of scanned copy with the stamp of the hotel) and charged me 5 euros for this letter and also took a payment for the first night.... We spent a week in this hotel last summer and decided to book here again for some nights in December. We chose the same type of room (double bed room with private ensuite) as we did last summer and paid the same price, but we got a very shabby room (room number 8, on the 1st floor) now. Its view... The hotel is very basic but clean, rooms are very small but ok and are cleaned everyday. The breakfast offered for EUR 5,50 is very decent - fresh bagettes, croissants, caffee/tea/cocoa, jam, butter, orange juice. Location is really convenient - two metro stops are within 2 min walk, both major ralilway stations are also nearby. About 20 min walk to... More

Stayed there from august 12-19 2010 and was very pleased. Had free high speed internet, conveniently located near Chateau d'eu metro station and a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord. The room fixtures were old and worn, but it was cleaned once a day. I was in a single with a sink. I will stay again if given the... More

My boyfriend and me were very happy about this hotel: - very cheap - attentive and kind staff at the reception - close to metro station, and also close to terrific bakery “Du Pain et des Idées” , very cool wine bar “Le Verre Volé” and Canal St. Martin which is a nice area to go out at night. We... More
