Relatively modern hotel but lacking some facilities such as aircon. Quite comfortable and clean although a bit noisy at times. Within an easy walk of the entire Epernay central district so no issues finding restaurants etc. A little lacking in character, but overall a reasonable experience.

The hotel is very central and has an underground car park which is a bonus. Located in a square, which is currently being landscaped (nearly finished) which will be very pleasant in summer. Our main problem was actually finding the hotel. It's down a narrow side street, Epernay has a complicated one-way system in its centre and our satnav couldn't cope. It was exactly what you would expect from an Ibis hotel. Small rooms, some very good service and some indifferent service (depends on the staff member). We arrived with a bunch of friends for a birthday celebration. While parking was confusing, the staff soon sorted it out for us and the service couldn't be better. We stayed 2 nights and on the second night we brought cheese and wine in and the staff helped us with plates, a place to sit, glasses....they even opened the bottle... More
