Room furniture is a bit old, and the noise from the street or other hosts can be a problem, but it is still a great value, few steps away from the Loire, old town, and bars and restaurants. No parking offered, but you can leave your car on the quays near the Loire (free).

This hotel was one of the cheapest hotels we stayed in during our European Vacation and we couldn't believe what we got for our money. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the station and the Visitor Information Centre and about 15 minutes from the old centre of Tours but right around the corner is one of the busiest... More

Caretakers were not very helpful or interested in our questions. They are a young couple with living on the first floor. Room had a strange pull out couch that was not easy to set up. Nails were sticking out of a warn piece of wooden furniture piece. Bedding was very uncomfortable and the building looked warn. The whole place was... More

This is an old building with renovated rooms which are quite big for modern standards. The (chinese) staff were very helpful and polite and the hotel has an INTERNAL safe parking that you can use to safely park your car. There is also free WiFi for use by the guests. You only need to ask for the password. The rooms,... More

Lovely older style 2 star hotel. Good location in quirky little French lane and walking distance to everything you need to see & do in Tours (Tours isn’t that big). Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was pretty small but not really an issue. Wi-fi access a bit iffy. No elevator so take a back pack and not one of... More

Nothing outstanding about this hotel. Other reviewers mentioned that the owners didn't speak English. I think it has changed hands recently and they speak pretty good English. Well, we got by anyway. We stayed in an attic room, which is cheaper than other rooms. Everything was clean and tidy with all the basics provided. The pedestrian street nearby has some... More

We stayed for just one night here, but had a wonderful experience. Owners accommodated our family of five with a very large room with one double, 2 singles and a sofa bed. Location was key, just off rue Colbert with its dozens of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great, consisting of delicious croissants, baguette, confitures, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea and... This is one of the oldest hotels in Tours so it has a few creaks but it is all part of the charm! The rooms are clean and comfortable but the bathroom is very small. Ideally located only a few doors down from cafes and restaurants and about a 7 minute walk to the tourism office and train station.

The bedroom and hotel location were ok, nothing more than that. In the beginning, the lady of the reception seem to be very kind with us and said that we could park our car inside of the building (not talking anything about extra fees). However, a fee appeared in our final bill about the parking. We complained, but she suddenly... More
