A small but very accommodating hotel quite near the Tours Railway Station. Just a stroll to the old part of the city and good restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfasts very good. Single beds in our room was a little disappointing, but we managed. Rooms quite spacious and very clean.

Convenient location on a quiet street that is little more than 100 yards from the train station and tourist office and a 15 minute walk from the town centre and main tourist attractions. Our room was a double on the third floor, which was a good size with a comfortable bed and a sizeable bathroom with tub and shower. It... More

10 mins from the old town and the best restaurants, the location allows quick entrance and exit to and from the town. Garage and street parling availible. Well kept rooms all with names rather than numbers. Reasonable self service breakfast. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the area. A treat is if a party of Far Eastern tourists arrive ,with... Room was amazingly dingy. No air conditioner. No ventilation. We we forced to keep window open at night on first floor, raising security concerns. Bed was unacceptably uncomfortable. No mini-bar, but worst or all we didn't have a shower or bath in our room, pretentiously called Lute. Instead we had hose in the middle of asphalt floor bathroom which we... More

Seriously, after the tiny, battered boxes that pass for budget hotel rooms in Paris, this place was paradise. For a little over 80 euros a night, we got a large twin room with private bath and central air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious, sleek, clean, and actually had a bathtub! I never heard noise from the neighbors or the adjacent... More

We stayed here with our teenage daughter for 3 nights. Very small room, difficult to find and very expensive for what was provided (eg. no fridge, wi-fi did not work). However, manager and staff were delightful and very helpful. Tours is a beautiful city, well worth a visit.

Because we were arriving by train, we wanted a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the station. We got that... and more! Yes, the decor is somewhat dated - orange and brown in the bedrooms and pale blue lustre bathroom fittings - but it all adds to the uniqueness of the place. In addition, naming each room after musical... More

So you will probably stay here if cheap and close to the train station is important to you - just like it was for me. Being able to arrive from the train and just roll your luggage to the hotel is a plus but probably the only plus. Also Grand Hotel and Holiday Inn are even closer if that is... More

I chose this hotel due to its 5 minute walking distance from the train station - having caught a TGV from paris and staying in Tours as a base for self driving the Loire. This hotel is great. The buffet breakfast was the best i had in France (& i stayed in 5 other hotels with breakfasts included) - it... More

We stayed in a corner room for two nights. We kept windows open at night and it was never hot . The room was clean. Just a regular Comfort inn room like everywhere in the US. Very generous breakfast and polite staff. The area seemed to be pretty queit; however, the hotel is only minutes (by walking) away from the... More
