The hotel is clean, has nice rooms and friendly staff. Plenty of parking which is charged for but not extortionate. Breakfast service was good with a fairly good range of food. The rooms were very comfortable with a huge bed and loads of pillows. Despite the proximity to a busy road, noise was non existent

Great view of the river, medium size rooms, on the lower scale of the Mercure chain. Common areas small, bar not well stocked, restaurant menu limited, all in all not a hotel to stay for more than a night
