Couldn't really find fault here. The bedroom was clean, well kept with ample room. The food was varied, well cooked and served in a delightful dining room. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and the staff were great. It's not a cheap hotel but was well worth the extra. I can thoroughly recommend the hotel

I stayed here for two nights as part of a Backroads bike trip in May. The Chateau is in a gorgeous setting and great location for exploring the Loire countryside. The rooms were cozy and well appointed - I even had a private deck off my room to enjoy morning coffee. This lovely property would be perfect for a wedding/anniversary... More

This is a wonderful hotel on a lovely property. The grounds are beautiful. Our room, #2, was huge and very comfortable. The food was very good as was the breakfast. The staff was more than friendly and efficient.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Arcachon and another night on our way back. It was truly magnificent. The staff were great really accommodating and helpful. We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group. Our room was quite spacious and very comfortable and very nicely appointed. Our dinners were excellent. And our waiter recommended a Vouvray wine that we really liked. At all times the staff made us feel quite at home. The gardens and the terrace were also quite nice. I... More

We booked through Booking Com and often feel we are given the worst rooms. We were shown to attic room with no lift and when shown the room we were told by the member of staff 'this is of my favourite rooms'. She must have thought we were village idiots! Tired and faded and instead of three nights, we checked... More

We loved our two-night stay here. Although part of a tour group we were made to feel like invited guests by every member of staff. Our room was HUGE, beautifully furnished and welcoming. The Berber carpet was cream coloured and seemed new, so we had no hesitation leaving our shoes in the clothes closet near the door to sink our... More

We loved Chateau de Rochecotte! From the warm welcome we received upon arrival, to the beautiful room and the gourmet meals, we could not have been happier with the Chateau de Rochecotte! It was perfectly located in the heart of the wine country and very conveniet to many of the Loire castles. For a truly memorable view of Chenonceau, take... More

This is a very unique peaceful place. The Chateau has gracious spacious salons and dining rooms,do not miss the collection of locally produced late XIX century porcelain. The surrounding park is huge, follow the trails above the hotel and discover the pond full of pink water lilies The restaurant is well appointed and tables are far apart background music mercifully low...
