Firstly, I cannot understand those reviewers who complained about the attitude of the staff at the hotel. We found them extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel lived up to all the reviews already on Trip Advisor. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. We stopped over for one night on our way to the Dordogne region. It was our wedding anniversary and we booked a table in the restaurant for dinner and were not disappointed, the food was excellent and service good, extensive wine list. Located in the town of Chenonceau, this French country inn with surrounding gardens, an inground pool and abundant parking was centrally located to many area chateaus.
