We loved our two nights here. Chenonceaux is a perfect location from which to explore this beautiful area inc Amboise. The staff at Auberge Bon Laboureur were fantastic. Reception staff were all incredibly helpful and even helped us sort out our TGV booking from Tours to Paris. The food here is amazing. We highly recommend this charming Auberge.

The only regret I have is booking only 2 night in very cute town of Chenonceaux. The town it self has a medieval feel and its very quite so I think its great if you want to just to kick back and enjoy French Country side. Our comfortable suite was delightful. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb. We tried the tasting menu which comprised course after course of sublime food and wine. One of the best places we have stayed in France. We plan to return soon.

We've just spent two nights indulging ourselves in a 4 star hotel opposite the fabulous chenonceau chateau. The rooms, service, restaurant and ambience are all very traditional and superb quality. Expensive but worth it!
