This hotel seems busiest in September/October: excellent reception service and a useful secure garage if you are overnighting on a long journey. No restaurant in-house but several within easy walking distance (inc Japanese and Chinese with 2 mins). Breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are fine, although I never worked out how to get the aircon below 22.5C. More

I stayed at the Normandie with a group of walkers. The holel is located near the city center and is very easy to access. The staff is most obliging and all speak English fluently.
