this chateau is beautifiul and comfortable and worth for price. staff was nice and help us to stay during night although we did not have a reservation at 11 pm. :)
breakfast was little bit expensive but it was delicious and had enough choices. 2-3 types of jam, traditional french bread and pastry, egg, cheese, ham, tea and coffee.

The chateau is historic and beautiful - panelled salons downstairs, a sweeping wooden staircase and comfortable, attractive bedrooms with decent bathrooms. We went in February, slightly worried it would be chilly and draughty and it was perfectly warm - you can adjust the temperature in the bedrooms very easily, so much better than a stuffy, modern box-hotel with permanent a/c....

A chateau hotel with quite a lot of history, in beautiful grounds, in the countryside just ten minutes out of St Malo. Quite tricky to find, but there are quite a few signs on roads nearby. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Not really like the usual run of the mill hotel, as there was no restaurant and staff did...

The Chateau Hotel du Colombier is located on six hectors of land. It is surrounded by farm land and offers a peaceful retreat! The grounds include a driving range, putting green, apple orchard, and a historic chapel! The ground level retains it's chateau charm while the rooms are good size, and offers modern bathrooms! Corinne provided excellent service. I was...

We chose the hotel via an internet search because of its proximity to St.Malo. Access to the town was easy. The hotel was welcoming, even allowing us access to our room at around 09.00, straight from the ferry. The owner & staff were friendly, helpful, and their breakfasts superb. We had a great three nights and have noted the details...

My spouse and I stayed at the Chateau Hotel du Colombier from 4 October 2010 to 8 October 2010. It was a splendid experience: we had the run of the historic chateau and the grounds; the owner/manager, Valerie, addressed our every need; and we lived in comfort and care. Though the chateau is initially difficult to locate, its countryside location...

We booked this 'hotel' for one night before we headed back to England on the ferry at St Malo after a long road trip around France. We wanted somewhere that had parking and a little character so that was our reasons for choosing Chateau Hotel du Colombier.
The hotel was a little difficult to find as it's...

We highly recommend Chateau Le Colombier. Although it's 5KM from the center of St. Malo, the location is pristine, beautiful and very quiet. Valerie the owner is a wealth of information and she can recommend excellent restaurants. The room we had was very large and was perfectly clean. The chateau itself has a lot of history and is amazing to...
