The staff was very helpful to us at this hotel, especially when I got sick and we had to find a doctor in town. Our room was small, but clean and adequate. The air conditioning system was an ongoing mystery to us, despite the staff's best efforts to help us master it. Good breakfast and free wifi.

We were unexpectedly stranded at the Perigueux train station for 24 hours, and checked in to the hotel at 10 pm after checking out the other nearby options. Don't waste your time...they're all unacceptable.

This place is right next to the train station, which in some cases is a plus. But it was almost unbearable. The rooms smelled heavily of mold. We asked to change rooms, and they kindly obliged, but the room they moved us to was just as bad. Anyone who doesn't like sleeping in a damp, moldy room should avoid this...
