Apart from the very small apartments this is an excellent pick (budget category), just about the busiest commerce street, nice restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the ‘Place de La Bourse’ where you have an amazing sight of the Garrone River and the city of Bordeaux! Great location but major shortcomings: shower cubicle is in full view of the bed so unless you're travelling alone or with a partner, it is not ideal. Really big rooms which have recently been modernised! Great location, so central! Very helpful staff on reception that understood our poor french attempts! Only thing lacking is a kettle in the room. Didnt sample the breakfast as think it is a bit too pricy at €12.50 pp! Will def be back when we are next i this beautiful city!
