This B&B has it all. The host and his wife really make you feel welcome. They speak English very well and we had many interesting conversations. The location is excellent. Quay des Chartrons and the centre of Bordeaux are within 15-20 minutes walking distance and the tram is just a few hundred meters away. We did not have any problem... More

We just got back from France and had a wonderful trip. We spent two nights here on Camille Godard. The room (and the entire home) is lovely and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, great shower, lots of little touches like bottled water and helpful tour guide magazines. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer and spoke such wonderful English. (This was welcome... I stayed in this B and B for 2 nights with my family and we had the best experience. The hosts obviously love what they do and do anything possible to be helpful. This elegant house has been decorated with a lot of care, taste and love. The rooms are very pleasant and the bathrooms contemporary and extremely clean. Chantal... More

Epitomises the pleasures of a good B&B over a hotel. It's a former wine merchant's house with typical architecture, generous proportions and a lovely staircase; the decor and mood are personal and charming and stylish in a liveable way, with quality fixtures. It's in a residential area, so you feel you're seeing a bit of the 'real' Bordeaux, but not... More

This B&B is situated in a lovely area of Bordeaux and is housed in a beautiful and lovingly renovated traditional Bordelaise house . The rooms are decorated in a modern but sympathetic style and are surprisingly spacious for Bordeaux. Francois and Chantel, the owners, clearly love what they do and are charming and welcoming. An early flight forced me to... More

We stayed at Les Chambres de Camille in May to spend our last 2 nights holiday in Bordeaux before flying home. The proprietors, Francois and Chantal were so welcoming ,friendly and helpful. The rooms were absolutely delightful, ours Miroir d'eauu , overlooked the little courtyard and small pool at the rear of the property. Everything was extremely clean and the... More

We were 2 couples staying here for three nights. It was a great location, walk into Bordeaux center or hop on the tram. The home is beautiful, enjoyed the outdoor pool, the rooms were nicely appointed. Very comfortable. Francois & Chantal could not have been more helpful with suggestions. The breakfast was in a beautiful setting, everything fresh and nicely... More

Francois and Chantal have put a great deal of thought and effort into the creation of this charming guest house. The beautifully renovated Bordelais town house has a calming atmosphere with bedrooms tastefully decorated to capture the essence of the property. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts who make time to chat over breakfast and answer any questions... More
